Program glitch?

I enjoyed playing this game with my grandson, but with the latest update, every time I click on the app, it acts like it will open, then flashes back to my phones home page. Now it wont open and we cant play it anymore!
The previous glitch has been repaired, but very frustrating to get a large amount of coins and then get "can not get video" message!!!
